The doughnuts and fritters are always great. I am not a coffee snob, so I enjoy their coffee too. Supporting a local business is also nice.

Yummy? No. I agree with bobby. And their employees do in fact not want to be there. They use mostly undocumented workers and work release prisoners from Randall county jail. No breaks, no other option. It's sad but true.

Not sure what you're talking about Bobby but the donut stop doesn't sell kolaches at all- they serve sandwiches and they use their own delicious bread recipe. The sandwiches are baked in the oven and are exceptional. Only complaint is they only sell on Bell so you can't get at any other store. I get a donut almost daily and they taste just like they always have- hot and yummy. I met one of the new owners and she was very nice. Store always appears clean to me.

You would think that people would try to keep the bets parts of a place when you buy it from a good owner. Well like other places the donut stop has fallen into the hands of people who want the money, but do not care about how they get it. I have been visiting the donut stop since I was a boy and what happened? The chocolate donuts just taste like overly sweet glaze no chocolate flavor at all. Also the people are now ruder than they have ever been almost like they just hate being there. Also the donuts used to be nice and fluffy. Now they are greesie heavy sometimes undercooked crap. And u can tell that they are not into the cleaning that the old owners held very high. They are just not clean. They smell and there is frosting and glaze on the booths even after you see them "wash" them. And if you want to make kolaches then make them use your own dough not some freezer burnt microwaved pice of crap. I hope Dunkin or Benjamens make best of this year the donut stop just is not it any more.
