During a leisurely Sunday drive from Dubuque, my companions and I made a stop along the river in Prairie du Chien on Saint Feriole Island, where we discovered the Depot. The serene setting allowed us to enjoy refreshing beverages and delightful snacks on the patio while admiring the passing boats and activities on the island, creating a memorable experience enhanced by the friendly service and historic ambiance of the former railroad depot.
