The atmosphere at this charming tavern on Lake Gogebic is inviting, with friendly staff and reasonably priced drinks served in chilled glasses. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious Cajun chicken sandwich, which exceeded my expectations, and it was clear that many patrons were enjoying their meals as well. While the political displays were a bit distracting, the warmth of the place and the engaging conversations made it a memorable stop during our travels.
