The atmosphere at Rock City Tap is welcoming, and the food consistently satisfies. The wings are a standout menu item, and their pizza is a local favorite. During a recent visit with friends, we enjoyed the friendly vibe of the bar, along with cold drinks and delicious dishes at reasonable prices.

I love this bar

I stopped in for fish one friday night with family from out of town. Took 15 minutes to get our order taken, and 45 minutes to get our fish. We all ordered baked potatoes, mine came without the potato. I was told, "it's coming" by the nice waitress. 10 minutes later, still nothing, and my two pieces of fish were almost gone. At the 18 minute mark, I told them to just cancel the potato and take it off my bill as we were all done eating and were ready for the check. When we were wrapping up, the owner came with a freshly microwaved, smashed with a fork, potato. When I told him that I already told the waitress to cancel it as we were done with our meal, he gave me a dirty look, a sigh and ceremoniously took it over to the trash can and in a tantrum, hurled it in the trash. Never did get the check and when we went to the bar to pay, we had to pay for the entire meal.

Never again!!
