I visited on a busy Tuesday night and enjoyed a delicious burger paired with a cold beer. The menu offers a nice variety of American fare, including burgers, wings, and steaks. The staff is friendly and the overall experience was enjoyable.

Entered at 6:11PM got seated within two minutes waited after a young girl brought me water I then waited 37 minutes before someone came to take my order. I had to request from two people for the service.
They took approximately 10 minutes to cook a steak to medium doneness. Sides were green beans and a baked potato fully loaded. Guess Kansas fully loaded means butter and sour cream. Spent 35 years in Texas and never got less than bacon bits, cheese, chives, butter and sour cream when i asked for a fully loaded baked potato. Butter and Sour Cream turns out to be extra. Thought I bought a smaller version of the steak and on the menu it was listed for $14.xx. It was kinda dark in there and now I know why. Charged over $20.00 for the whole thing.
It was delivered by a young kid maybe twelve years old. He threw it down on the table and turned and left. I have arthurites and need help to split the plastic "tear here," had to wait for another bus girl to come and open it for me.
When I said something to the cashier she said she would pass it on. Not sure who she would pass it on to. The next customer in the door would have been the right person to pass it on to. Certainly no one less would care.
This was my third time stopping in at this place over the past three years. Today was the best service I have ever received.
Last time I was here I asked for a to go order and after 1 hour and seventeen minutes I left even with two different waitresses telling me that my order was next. Order a hamburger steak that time.

My first time in there I had a hamburger at lunch and maybe that is better. But the hamburger is not the best in town either. Sonic does better. Go to Plateau for the best burger.

Someone tonight tried to use my credit card to order. Amex contacted me and refused the charge. If you know the jerk who tried , I would like his or her name. Evidently they also tried to buy something from saks 5th Avenue online. Of course amex caught that too. The card has been canceled. Please send me the name of someone who tried to use my card and was refused.
