Terrible experience here. Ordered by phone, and was told there was a 45 minute wait. Upon arriving, there was 16 people inside, all in close proximity waiting for orders, and more people outside. Seemed to be a tense atmosphere, and people complaining about ordering online and on the phone and waiting more than two hours. They had Thai iced tea complimentary, which had a very strong chemical taste to it. It was so bad that I had to throw it away. After 1 1/2 hours, I politely asked for my money refunded as I had an elderly (90) mother at home who is diabetic and needed to eat, and I had been waiting a very long time. They would not refund my money, and stated it would be another 3 minutes. 30 minutes later, I asked for a refund of my money because I needed to go. Again, they refused, and suddenly did not speak English when I tried to explain that I had to leave. Everyone inside was frustrated at having to wait so long. We could hear the employees laughing in the kitchen and carrying on, and food was not coming out at all. They were bringing a bag of food out maybe every 15 minutes or longer. We all thought that was strange. We then heard a man in the kitchen laughing and saying "just give me your card and your pay", as if mocking all the people waiting for food. More than two hours later, they brought my food out, and my husband's dinner was missing. They told me it would take a long time to make his dinner, even though I had been waiting for more than two hours. I was so frustrated that I just left as they were not speaking English again when I kept asking them how long it would take to make my husband's meal that I had ordered. When we got home, the 3 Thai teas we had ordered all tasted very strongly of chemicals and we could not drink them so that was a large loss of money. The meals we had were so small portioned, and had no taste and were filled with ONIONS rather than chicken or anything else. Very disappointed. We have eaten at so many Thai restaurants in this country and the world due to military moves and travel, and this restaurant is one of the worst we have been to. Unfriendly staff and super SUPER SUPER SLOW SERVICE. They were carrying on in the kitchen (laughing and talking) as if no people were waiting. We will gladly drive to Lemon Thai in Manchester where the food is always fantastic and the service is always great no matter how busy they are. Telling people 30 - 45 minutes and then taking more than 2 hours is very deceptive. They make you pay though as soon as you order or walk in...DO NOT PAY BEFORE YOU PICK UP YOUR FOOD so it gives you. the opportunity to go elsewhere if you need to.
