On a recent visit to Richmond, we purposely seeked out Beckys because they touted themselves the "best breakfast in Richmond". What a mistake! My husband ordered the sausage gravy biscuits. The biscuits tasted store bought and were hard, the gravy was greasy and tasted like flour ..and where was the sausage?! My eggs were cold and overcooked, they were "out of sausage", so I settled for two strips of hard, cold bacon, and the hash browns had to have been a couple of days old! A very disappointing experience. We should have known, given that the place was empty at 7:30 in the morning.
