I'm a bit of a history buff, so learning about the story behind Half Way House made dining there even more special, especially with the charming, dimly lit ambiance and attentive staff. While my filet mignon wasn't cooked quite right, the other dishes, like the beef tips and prime rib, were delicious, and the overall experience was definitely worth the price.

Last visit, meat was overcooked and greens were over salted. Fried green tomatoes were wonderful as were the deserts.
