We had been to the restaurant a couple of weeks before and had a great meal. However, upon return, it could not have been worse. Stone cold, rotten clams. Items missing from what the menu said we would get with the order. Overcooked flounder. Crabs that must have been dead for some time before cooking. You get the picture.
Well, we asked to speak to the manager, and 20 minutes later, a woman who identified herself as the owner came over with a bunch of excuses and not a word of apology. She noted that I was not going to be charged for the inedible food that I sent back. Big woo.
The snotty attitude we encountered was so bad that none of our party intends to return until the ownership changes. I have it on good authority that their lease runs out in September, and because of numerous complaints it will NOT be renewed. Yay!
One star because zero doesn't seem to be an option.
