The campground offers excellent amenities, including water and electric at each site, level gravel sites, and well-maintained barns for horses. Additionally, the bath house is fantastic, and the camp manager is incredibly friendly and helpful. The surrounding area provides access to trails in the Jefferson National Forest, featuring a mix of FS roads and dirt trails with moderate difficulty levels, including some challenging sections on the fall line.
