This charming little museum has a stunning building that makes it a great choice for a wedding venue, which is how I found myself there. While the exhibits are small, they offer a fascinating glimpse into Alexandria's history, and my kids particularly enjoyed the interactive elements, like the lighthouse lights and the hands-on deer hide display. Even though the gift shop's offerings are disappointing, the overall experience was enhanced by the friendly staff who provided excellent service and local recommendations.
