My husband and I didn't have alot of money when we got married so we rented the Norwood Room and did the wedding ceremony and reception in one place. When we booked it we put half the money down and we didn't have to pay the other half until the day before the ceremony. The day before my wedding my inlaws and myself all met up there to decorate. I was running behind so I called the people that run the Norwood Room and said I would be there last and I had the money. They told me it would be fine to let my family in to decorate before I got there. Then when I got there each one of my family members proceeded to tell me how each was approached by the owner who demanded $250 for the room rental before he would let them in!!! I couldn't believe how rude and unprofessional he was!!! Especially since the room was in my name and my husband and I were the only POCs anyway! If I could have had the option to change venues at that point I definitely would have because of the lack of tact shown by the owner. The room itself was fine but I will never recommend them because the owner is an -ss.
