I've been enjoying this Chinese restaurant since I was a little girl, and their General Tso's sauce is truly unique. The food is consistently delicious, especially the beef and broccoli, fried dumplings, and crispy spicy beef, and the owner is always friendly and welcoming. Delivery is quick and reliable, and the affordable combo meals offer great value without sacrificing quality, making it my go-to choice whenever I'm craving classic comfort Chinese food.

The crispy chicken lunch special was absolutely terrible. By my standards, at least, inedible. The chicken was not crispy, and of inferior quality: grey, unappetizing, almost mystery-meatish. I innocently inquired about the sauce and they were a bit guarded--with good reason. It looked like sweet and sour, the person at the counter would only say it was "soy-based." Its flavor had no nuance or quality, almost like liquefied catsup. The accompanying fried rice and eggroll were utterly tasteless.
This was 8$ instantly thrown away. I'm still considering a complaint to the Better Business Bureau for Fairfax County. But I suppose that if they are meeting cleanliness standards there may not be a basis for filing. As far as their cuisine however, it's clear they have no commitment to producing pleasant meals. There are many "hole-in-the-walls" (of all types of ethnic cuisines) where much is forgiven if the meal is well-made. Please do not dine here with that expectation.
