Flying in from Statesville, NC on a calm Wednesday afternoon, I found myself immersed in a cozy cafí© atmosphere right beside the airport runway, where the hum of planes coming and going blended seamlessly with the relaxed, friendly vibe inside. The generous portions, like the massive chicken sandwich I savored and the homemade chicken tenders my granddaughter enjoyed, paired perfectly with attentive service and the ever-changing views of prop planes taking off against a blustery sky. Sitting outside, watching the aircraft dance across the tarmac while tasting fresh, flavorful dishes made the experience unforgettable-each visit unfolding like a quiet celebration of good food, great company, and the simple joy of watching the world in motion.

We flew in from Statesville, NC on a Wednesday for lunch at this cool cafe by the airport. The vibe there is super chill and everyone is friendly. I had a massive Chicken Sandwich while my husband chowed down on a Grilled Cheese Sandwich and Turkey Vegetable Soup. The portions were huge, and we were impressed by the quick service and relaxing atmosphere. It's definitely a spot we'll be hitting up again!
