Best breakfast in Hot Springs and $5 cheaper the Waffle House. Just wish they'd open around sunrise.

I had their liver and onions, pinto beans and greens with cornbread. Absolutely the best home cooked meal I've had in years! Nothing from a can...everything is cooked fresh. I look forward to eating here next time I'm in Hot Springs.

My husband and I were pleased this morning to find very few people when we walked in. No one was around to see us come in, but we were sure that they would arrive soon. Which they did--as soon as several couples and a large party walked in. We sat in clear view of the staff for 15 minutes as menus were brought to all but our table--never a glance in our direction, even as the table next to us received their items. The wait staff passed by us several times. Our empty table couldn't have been more obvious.

I spoke to the manager, and got the disinterested response, "We 're busy. Sorry no one saw you walk in." That wasn't the problem at all--we arrived before the others, and he and both waitresses could clearly have seen us with a simple look around the room. Naturally, we walked.

We are residents who have been to Granny's before, and we will definitely let family and friends know about the experience.
