Good service and good food

Our group of 5 went for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the special $12 menu on Saturdays from 4-7 at Victoria's, which included a choice of three menu items, family-style vegetables, bread, drink, and dessert. The food was delicious, portions were generous, and the restaurant was surprisingly empty. The service, provided by a friendly waitress in training, was excellent, with the owner also doubling as the cook to ensure our enjoyment.

This food is something left to be desired....the entre was edible but the sides....NOT. I can say you can't mess up a three bean salad out of a jar or can.....but if you get the potato salad...BEWARE...if that is potato salad I am a monkeys AZZ.....it is gross, nasty, and slimy. The Teas was a mixture of Lemon Aid and Death. I will say the bread was a hamburger roll torn in half to look like a homemade bun....LOL. I am not a picky person but this is not edible....It came with desert...ok chocolate something with a sweet sugar coating....it was the best looking thing on the cart....no wonder the food was so cheap...7.95 worth of disappointment. I was looking forward to this after a 60 mile drive...just to eat at this place...after the reviews I read........they lied.....I can say the place is clean and the restrooms you could eat this crap off the floor.....The waitress was very nice...but food....I wish she had warned me before ordering this gross...stuff.
