I AM IN ABSOLUTE DISGUST with Yamato's. Our firm scheduled a Christmas Party of 19 guests with this joint a month ago, we discussed further arrangements with the manager the week of the party on a Wednesday and THEN we receive a phone call on Thursday at 5pm..... (2) days before our Christmas Party stating that (2) of their chefs had quit and they were canceling our Christmas Party reservations!!! HOW UNPROFFESSIONAL. Thanks Yamatos FOR NOTHING!!! I will NEVER step a foot in that joint (not deserving to be called a restaurant)!!!

Like many, my wife and I were sad when Yamato closed several months ago without warning. When it re opened under the direction of an owner than runs another local restaurant, we thought it could only be better. Wrong!After two visits, we are throwing in the towel. On both visits the food just wasn't as good as before and the price was very high for what we received. The sushi was falling apart by the time it got to the table and the steak was tough and the shrimp was in short supply.Not sure what's going on, but from the looks of the parking lot, many others likely agree.

We love this restaurant - however we understand they are closed - such a shame - the best sushi around.
