I think Randy's RR bar is exactly what I imagine when I think of a typical bar in the US - no frills, just drinks. The beer is cold, cheap, and the crowd tends to be on the younger side. The bathroom is pretty basic, though, without a lock or a sink, which is a bit of a downside. But if you're after a straightforward, no-nonsense spot for a brew, Randy's is a decent pick.
