We rented a private room for a party, and the service and food were fantastic. The Avocado Bomb is a must-try if you enjoy avocado and spicy tuna, and my go-to is the steak bento box, which never disappoints. Despite a few hiccups with the cold weather and restroom cleanliness, the quality of the sushi and sashimi I experienced was impressive, making it a solid choice for a meal in the area.

Web site for Sushi Gen in Shreveport, LA shows that it is open on Mondays. However, when my party of nine went there on Monday, March 15, 2021 it was closed. Therefore, my rating of one star is based on our inconvenience and not on the food

Yum yum yum in my tum tum tum. The rice is always so good. Just the right texture. Fish is good too. I spend a lot when I go. Can't beat their yellow tail.
