While camping near Leavenworth, I stopped at Big Y Cafe for breakfast on a cold morning and was impressed by the quick seating, efficient service, and generous portions of hot, tasty food. The friendly staff, especially Megan, ensured a welcoming atmosphere with plentiful coffee refills and a variety of classic American breakfast options, making it a worthwhile stop when visiting the area.

Fantastic cooks, very friendly folks. The seasoned shrimp tacos are extraordinary as are the once in a lifetime homemade pies. Lovely down home atmosphere. And you're not in the city.
