This bakery in Long Beach has an incredible variety of pastries, breads, and sandwiches that always hit the spot, with friendly and attentive service that makes the experience even better. The vibe can be chill or buzzing busy depending on the time, and while seating is limited, the food is definitely worth grabbing to go or staying if you can snag a seat. Prices are reasonable for a coastal town, and the fresh baked goods-from breakfast sandwiches to decadent pies-keep me coming back whenever I'm around.

Doughnuts and pastries are the best. I drive 120 miles for Dylan's goods. Lots of variety too. Not just a doughnut stop. Check it out.

Cottage Bakery has a very wide assortment of baked goods and everything I've had so far is amazing! So much to choose from, I had a hard time choosing :)

I've been going to the Cottage Bakery in Long Beach, WA for years. Use to love the food, desserts and their service. In the past few years it has been horrible. Service is bad, rude employees with no personalities and no smiles. Food has drastically gone downhill. I don't buy loaves of bread anymore because it is always stale and hard. Even when I get a sandwich the bread around the edges is hard and dried out. I have to tear the crust off just to be able to eat the sandwich. Cream cheese croissants use to be fresh and delicate. Now they are as hard as rocks. Bought a apple fritter and I had to soak it in my coffee just to be able to get a taste and wound up throwing it away. Probably will stop going there at all.
