Returning to this familiar holiday destination with my husband, we found ourselves drawn to this inviting spot once again. Whether enjoying drinks or savoring the delicious burgers, this place exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere that keeps us coming back for more.

We are new to the area and have been here several times, never had anything but excellent quality food. The menu is a crowd pleaser, great place to bring visiting family knowing it will not disappoint.

We go to Kelly's at least once a month for the fish n chips. It is the best in Newport and we always take out of town guest there for the good food and fast service. Today we stoped in for our fish n chips fix and my wife submitted the fries for a salad with dressing on the side and I asked for malt vinegar. Now I have to say that I do not itemize a bill too much but today I noticed that I was charged $1.50 for a small amount of salad dressing and $.50 for even a smaller amount of malt vinegar! So an extra $2.00 is not a big deal BUT salad dressing should come with a salad and malt vinegar should arrive with fish n chips (I would think). I did talk to the folks in charge and they said the charge is the charge. I guess it was costing too much to supply customers with things that make a meal complete. So heres the deal, Kelly's has very good fish n chips. Good service and I am sad that I won't be stoping there any more for my favorite lunch. That's $20.00 to $ 40.00 dollars a month and a 20 percent tip that will not show on there bottom line. I do not think that nickel and dimeing customers is a way to stay in business.
