Spending a birthday weekend at the Orcas Hotel felt like stepping into a warm, welcoming storybook filled with kind people and incredible food-from clam chowder to smoked brisket and island-made ice cream. Though the building's age shows and there were a few minor inconveniences like daytime construction noise and flies, the cozy rooms, thoughtful staff, and beautiful harbor views more than made up for it, creating a memorable island experience that keeps me dreaming of the next visit.

We had an amazing birthday weekend at Orcas Hotel, arriving late on Friday to find a St. Patrick's celebration dinner waiting for us - talk about luck! The cozy room, friendly staff, and delicious food made our stay unforgettable, despite some minor inconveniences like noisy construction and a few flies.
