When you're cruising on your Harley and in need of a cold beer, The Outpost Saloon in Monitor is the perfect pit stop. It's a rustic country saloon with friendly service and a laid-back vibe that's ideal for escaping your worries, even if just for a short while. Despite being close to the city, it feels like a world apart, offering a relaxing atmosphere and reasonable prices. Although I've never sampled the food (except maybe a Hot Mama or a Pickled Egg), I've heard rave reviews from those who have.
