Spuds has been my go-to for authentic fish & chips since I was a kid growing up in Kirkland, and it still blows me away every time. The 3-piece cod with garlic-infused malt vinegar is my favorite combo, and the slaw adds a perfect touch to the meal. It's a bit pricey, but the quality and flavors make it totally worth it, no matter the season.

Spuds in the greater Seattle area has been a longtime favorite for authentic fish and chips, with the Kirkland location being a standout for decades. Despite the higher prices, the quality and taste make it worth the splurge, especially for a die-hard cod and chips enthusiast like myself. The garlic-infused malt vinegar adds a delicious touch, and the location near Juanita Beach offers a picturesque setting for enjoying a meal by the water.
