Thrifty's Food Store is a fantastic option for our island community, with a well-managed focus on customer satisfaction that has kept me coming back for 40 years. However, recent changes requiring the scanning of my driver's license for wine purchases have made me consider shopping at IGA instead, where such invasive measures are not required and customer privacy is respected. Making simple adjustments like raising the age appearance requirement to 30 can easily address any concerns about selling to minors, allowing loyal customers like myself to continue enjoying the wonderful offerings at Thrifty's without unnecessary hassle.
