Zips may look a bit outdated and easy to overlook, but trust me, driving past it would be a huge blunder! On Friday, after spotting their $6.99 Fish and Chips deal, we swung in, enjoyed lightning-fast service from ridiculously cheerful staff, and devoured piping hot, flaky cod with fresh fries and free tartar sauce-just like the Zips I grew up loving.

Zips may seem like an unassuming fast food joint that you could easily overlook, but stepping inside reveals a warm atmosphere filled with friendly faces. The enticing Fish and Chips special drew us in, and within minutes, we were savoring perfectly cooked, flaky cod paired with hot, fresh fries and a zesty lemon wedge. Each visit reminds me of the comforting charm I've always associated with Zips, and I can't wait to return for more.
