The first time that I went into this small restaurant was for the sushi because of the sign outside in neon lights. I walked in, with my boyfriend in tow, and was met by a smiling Thai woman who bowed her head and seated us with a smile and a greeting that never faltered. we ordered, and she brought us our drinks. The tea has a jasmine after taste that makes you want to take another sip immediately. The sushi we ordered was the crunchy roll, the philly roll, and a california roll. The crunchy roll became our favorite immediately, the taste and crunch with the crab was devised so perfectly that we knew then that we would not need to go anywhere else. That is the roll we recommend to anyone, and Thai House is our favorite sushi bar. Everytime we walk in, a waitress named Sai greets us, seats us and immediately goes to get our drinks wihtout asking because she has remembered us. That sort of service is rare and genuine. She jokes with us and talks to us as if we were more than just customers but real people. That is another rarity. You can hear them speaking Thai in the background, and they give space without being neglectful. If a waitress or waiter is busy with another couple, a different one will see our cups half empty and rush to ask us if we would like another fill. Everyone smiles and bows traditionally at us. And, when we left everyone we passed smiled and wished us a happy day. We recently tried their Thai food, and we stopped after the first bite, savouring each flavor that we tasted, and just sat there in awe at the flavor. It was rich and delicious. Light in comeparison to Chinese, with less oils and almost no butter, everything is made with precision and care. This is the best food that I've had in a long time, and it is filling. Everytime, we take leftovers home. My favorites are Pad Thai and Kai Cashew.
