Comparable to going to Boston's Chinatown restaurants. Ask for the special menu. Dim sum is outstanding!

Very good dim sum, excellent service, fast and friendly, very clean restaurant. I have been to Chinatowns in New
York, Boston, and San Francisco, and have visited Hong Kong 7 times, I will not try to compare it to these as a 5 star, although last time I was in Boston I would say Silver Crystal beat the restaurant we ate in by several stars.
I have not eaten their evening meals but once, and I would say they were closer to Chinese American than to
real Chinese, but 5 star on the dim sum definetly!

Great food, especially the Dry Beef Chow Foon. The sweet Sesame ball dim sum is also a favorite.

Silver Crystal is a small, family-owned restaurant where everyone is welcome. It features good service, delicious food, large portions, and reasonable prices. The decor is subdued. I often see people of Chinese ancestry dining there. There are several menus: an English language menu with a Chinese section in the back, a lunch combination menu during the weekday hours those are served, and a dim sum (small plates) menu. Dim sum is offered whenever the restaurant is open, not just at lunch time. A pot of Chinese tea is still served free with your order. If you go often, the small staff will get to know you and appreciate your patronage.
