06/19/2015 - Horrible
First off.. it's not that difficult to cook rice. Secondly, it literally takes less than two minutes a day to do this yourself if you bought the ingredients and precooked everything. I rarely go here, but only when I'm really hungry or have a stupid desire to throw money in the wind. I've also heard through the grape vine that many of the previous manages of this "Fast-Food" joint quit due to the fact the owners (I personally known them for a very long time, besides I'm more wealthy than they'll ever be, but they try soooo hard to excel beyond me!) are complete imbeciles. Anywho... Americans ought to learn how to be more self sustainable.
B.A. Burrito is far too expensive! You can get a 20 lb bag of rice for less than $10 and that will last an individual nearly 6 months if not longer. Also, all the additional ingredients... are not expensive either. Chicken you can get a 5lb bag of tyson breasts for $0.75 - $1.25 a lb, sauce and condiments (olives, lettuce, etc) all under $10! Preparing doesn't take long either! Prepared rice and chicken will last for weeks if properly stored in the fridge! To say the least B.A. Burrito is highway robbery and clearly price gouging customers. A single bowl that an individual currently pays is between $7.99 - $8.99, but in reality a justifiable cost would be more like $4.95 - $5.95. especially when all Ingredients (including additional) don't even add up to $1.50 - $3.00 themselves!!!! Also, lets not forget the trans fats in some of the sauces they use!!
If you've ever been to a REAL MEXICAN Burrito palace, the same with many Asian restaurants, you'd know that you are served TWICE the amount of food at half the cost B.A. Burrito and others serve.
