My husband's mom always shopped at Montecito Village Grocery, and I can see why-it's smaller and way less crowded than the big chains. I loved the friendly vibe, the nice wine selection, and how helpful everyone was, especially Martha, who saved my evening by covering my ice cream when I forgot my wallet.
