great food, huge portions, a baked potato the size of a football, best liver and onions ive had in years, a bit rustic with young staff that at least tries to give you service, dont miss this place and dont let the location in a truck stop fool you this is 5 star eating.

My first visit to this restaurant and will be my last. Do not go an hour before they close even on a Friday night because the food was terrible. Got steak and chicken, cold. Baked potato cold! Texas toast cold, paid extra for that. Service was horrible, the waitress was as cold as the food. Guess we picked the wrong night to go since I have seen other reviews on how great this place is. Wonder who these people are employees trying to make it look good. Oh, one more thing we didn't even get the peanuts.

This place is so outdated and filthy. There was a thick layer of dust on everything. Disgusting. The burger was over cooked and dry. I ordered it medium. The french fries were not edible. Grease in fryer probably hadn't been changed for a long time.Very slow service. I will not return.

I ordered the Ham Dinner special. It was absolutely amazing!! the ham was so thick and round. As round as the plate enough to feed two people easily. The service was outstanding with refills coming in a timely manner, no wait time to be seated, and the dinner came quickly. I was very impressed! I would definitely eat there again and I would recommend to family and friends.

Horrible horrible horrible service- which is a shame because the food is good. The lunch menu is very limited but the dinner menu is good. Good steaks- good side dishes- excellent wings- but never have had good luck with service! Train your waitresses to be NICE!

The 1st time I ate here the service and food were Great... loved the Ribs. The 2nd time I couldn't even get served! 5 Star Food and 1 Star Service! Thw waitress let me know after waiting 45 minutes she never even placed the order! I ordered at the Bar and still didn't get served! Others around me got their meals but not me... After 1 1/2 hours I went across the street and finally got a meal at the Truck Stop! I guess if they know you the service is better. I was Frustrated and Hungry. Too Bad, the food was good.

The 1st time I ate here the food and service were great... Love the Ribs! The 2nd time at Rotten Bucks was a complete different story! 5 star food 1 star service. I placed my order and found out 45 minutes later that she never placed the order! I ordered at the Bar and was told they were out of Ribs, so I ordered just an order of sweet potato fries... that never came.

First of all the food is way to pricey for the location. The owner is very rude and lacks people skills! While sitting waiting on my meal after waiting 20 minutes to be waited on I heard her bad mouth several people! I would not recommend any of my peers to go there and the way she talked about the truckers that haul her supplies daily I wouldn't recommend they go there either! U are in a truck stop! And these guys make our country go around!

LARGE portions prepared to perfection.
If you are tired of the same old chain restaurant food, you MUST try this place!

This place has a Texas roadhouse theme.
LARGE portions of EXCELLENT food!
I've had the steaks, hamburgers, fish,and salads and ALL were excellent.
Come hungry!
These meals are big enough for two!

This is a wonderful place to eat. It is the first restaurant we've been in that offers the noodles/mashed potatoes/gravy combination. Food is great, service is friendly.
