The Cardamom bread at The Bread Basket is absolutely delicious - a must-try! I've enjoyed it at gatherings, and it always disappears quickly from the table. With my Scandinavian background, I grew up with Swedish Cardamom bread and the Bread Basket's version is just like the one I had as a child. The bakery offers a range of homemade breads, pastries, and soups that are all incredibly tasty. The owner, Andrew, is friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. You definitely won't be disappointed if you visit this charming bakery in Hamden.

Their Swedish Cardamom Bread is HEAVENLY! Rolls, soups, muffins and all the rest are all delicious, lovingly made from the best ingredients. Be sure to call them for info on business hours, and info on when to call if you want to place an order.
