Driving through Mount Morris, PA on a rainy morning, I discovered Rising Creek Bakery and enjoyed one of the best breakfast sandwiches around, made with their famous salt-rising bread baked right on-site. The cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and outstanding flavors-from the omelet packed with fresh veggies and ham to the perfectly made French toast-made it clear this bakery is a real treasure in the region. I even took home a loaf of their salt-rising bread, which brings back nostalgic flavors and keeps me coming back time and again.
