Ardy and Ed's feels like stepping back into the 1950s with carhops on roller skates and a menu that delivers comfort food. The service is always quick, and the food hits the spot; I particularly love their homemade root beer and delicious shakes. While the fried mushrooms didn't impress me this time, the overall vibe and nostalgia keep me coming back for more.

Sorry, but the hype doesn't match the food. First,our waitress wasn't on skates, coney dogs were bad and our French fries came with no ketchup. Who serves fries with no ketchup . Hot dogs were tough and no flavor. Genes rootbeer stand in Anderson. Ind. Has this place beat hands down. Try it you won't be sorry. 🙃
