Absolutely superb. Most recent visit was Feb 2011. All fresh foods, home made ingredients, exceptional menu choices - delicious. Had smoked duck gumbo (incredible), Wiener Schnitzel with dumplings and red cabbage (excellent), pan fried Walleye with home made slaw(both top notch) and a couple of home made deserts that were heavenly. The couple next to us stopped us on the way out to tell us how good their pizza was and that the come every week for one. I highly recommend this restaurant and plan to become a regular there.

Auggie's became our new favorite in the Minocqua area. The homemade pizza is superb, and the lettuce wedge salad (an uptown favorite in large cities) was even better with the homemade Russian dressing. Congrats to a great eating adventure. (Loved having space for the dogs after our meal.)

Worst place i have ever eaten, burnt and undercooked food, rude staff, overpriced

I think whoever wrote those reviews were there on a bad day, or with the previous owner. Just about everything is as fresh as you can find in this area. Prices are a little high, but worth every penny. Unless you like all of your food frozen, and deep fried! The pizza is the best in town. And I will DEFIANTLY be back!

This was the worst place i have ever eaten at. The food was horrible and poorly presented. The prices where outrageous. And the huge fat guy was the biggest dick to his employees and did nothing but scream at the cooks. I ordered a burger and it took them 30min. to cook it, and they somehow burnt the hell out of it, and there was only one other table there. The guy that owned the place before him was 100 times better than this new guy, he doesn't even know what he is doing. I will never come back to this place, and i will make sure to tell everyone i know how horrible this place is and how much of a rip off it is.

Very limited menu...very smokey kitchen odors. No salads on menu except dinner salad which was a wedge of iceburg lettuce.Lasagna was a large portion but not very flavorful. Pappered steak was tastey but not very nice to look at..it was beige. Pizza was average. Pricey. Waitress thought Leinenkugel's beer was an import. We won't be back.
