On my second visit to Blancks after 15 years, I found it to be a classic supper club experience with a welcoming hostess who directed us to the bar for drinks and then seated us when our food was ready. The brandy old fashioneds were sweet as expected in Wisconsin, and I recommend trying the hot mushrooms as a garnish for a delicious touch. The broasted chicken was excellent, with perfectly baked potatoes, and the service was attentive and friendly throughout the meal, making it a standout dining experience that my family truly enjoyed.

Great good and service

I'm at the point of never going into Blancks again! I stopped to get a bite before an important meeting yesterday evening. The place was empty but I had to wait over 30 minutes too be seated.I was asked to wait in an awkward, dirty bar with bad drinks, and worse batstaff. I was finally seated, and greeted by a mediocre salad bar with wilting veggies, warm pasta salads and stale bread. Im pretty sure the seafood soup made me sick. I had ordered a steak and potatoes. Im pretty sure the potatoes were at least a week old, and the 16 oz steak was maybe 10 oz - at that. I went to pay and they had me go to the checkout counter, there were 3 girls there, but only one was handling costumers. The other cashier was casually talking and catching up on their personal lives, while there was at least 8 people in line. For 20 minutes I was in that line. I was late for my meeting, When checking out I complained about my meal and she looked at me as if I had 3 heads! And curtly responded that she was helping someone else and I could go find my waiter to file my complaint. Horrible service is to be expected if you go here it seems. Its a shame because they used to be such nice place from my past experience there.
