We decided to try Bonnie's Lakeside despite some poor reviews, and enjoyed friendly service from Sue, delicious onion straws, perfectly cooked chicken and fish, must-try potato pancakes, and tasty white dove ice cream drinks, all in a great atmosphere that made us eager to return.

Fish/chicken special was good, although online menu has incorrect price. Creamy coleslaw was a little different, but also good. Bartender lacked personality, but old fashions were good. Even had oranges, albeit small pieces.

We just left. We went for the fish and chicken. We had to beg for a waitress, we had to beg for drinks, beg for our meals which were Luke warm at best. And we had to get on our knees and plead for seconds. We will never go there again
