The lunch was great. When I asked for extra pickles I was given three. The young lady behind the counter was very friendly. Several hours after I got home (an hour away) I realized I had left my purse in the booth. When I went back shortly before they closed at 7:45 p.m. the same young lady was still there. Nothing was missing and I am very lucky and grateful. Will definitely go back again the next time I’m in Delavan

I go to Brodie's for the Gyros and fries.
You can tell the fries are cut in house, and the Gyro is carved of the spit like it's supposed to. I can't tell you how many places Ive been to up here for a Gyro that reheat frozen gyro strips. I'd by them at the grocery store and nuke em if I wanted that! Cucumber sauce is awesome to boot, Brodie's does it right.

Worst (and last) food I have ever had at Brodies'. Just nasty. Indifferent help , didn't care about our business at all .. food took a very long time to be done. I had asked for our onion strings to be served first as an appetizer ..and they did give me them after I asked about them -- undercooked and swimming in grease. My husbands hamburger was an overcooked dried out hockey puck on a bun, my gyros was chucnks of undercooked meat on a 'crispy' hard piece of pita. The fries were a major disappointment as well .The floors, booths, tables, --everything was dirty looking . Different prices were listed on the paper menu & the over the grill menu;when I inquired I was told the prices changed and new menus weren't printed up yet .....Isn't that false advertising then? Misleading to say the least. When I complained to the "staff" .. both of the portly boys essentially ignored me and sarcastically wished me happy holidays. It was quite apparent to my husban & I that these two bozos had no desire to provide a pleasant or edible dining experince --which is shame because these are two important factors in a restaurant
