My Husband and I had a unpleasant experience as first time customers. The food was very good, however I think they should evaluate the customer service skills of there employee's. It seems they cater to the locals better than outsiders. I was sitting at the bar for at least five minuets waiting to order a drink, when this couple walked in sat down and the bartender greeted them right away if front of us. To me that is just plan rude other customers were seated before us, when I know we were there before them. A table got waited on and order taken when we were sitting at our table before them as wait staff walked by us several times and never acknowledge us. That is the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I will most likely never go back when we are in the area. One more thing the young lady who was playing hostess needs to work on her customer service skills, lets just say that is not a position she should be working in.

I have gone there a number of times. They have the best steaks in the area. I don't have to go to Madison's Outback or to the Fond du Lac area at Blancks any more for a great steak. But I do go to Blancks of and on, because they are just too great to miss out on. Back to the Char House, Their walleye is top notch, as well as their chowder, excellent. They have the best barbecued ribs that I have ever tasted and my favorite steak is their ribeye. Their waitstaff can't beat neither. I have to stop, my hunger pangs are causing trouble and I have to satisfy their need's.
