I was a bit worried after reading some reviews as a non-local, but the friendly atmosphere and helpful staff made me feel at ease as they directed us to the dining area. The split pea soup and old fashioned were delicious, and the haddock and chicken dishes were flavorful and satisfying, all at a reasonable price.

What a great and wonderful dining experience eating at this neighborhood hot spot!! The food is homemade and sooooo delicious! You must not miss out on broasted chicken night-WOW! It's like nothing you've ever tasted- mouth-watering-delious!It's the eating place of my choice when I visit the midwest!And the beer is always icy cold and served by loving people!
