Craving Chinese food for the first time in this neighborhood, I found a quaint restaurant tucked inside an older building, its glowing sign the only hint it was open. The lunch special was generous and flavorful-the beef chow mein paired with a salty, hearty soup and dark, strong tea created a comforting meal, all served by a warm and attentive staff. Though the dining room felt a bit dim and quiet at first, the steady arrival of other guests and the promise of dishes like General Tso's chicken and potstickers make me eager to return and explore more of the menu.
