I grew up in the Manitowoc area and as a teen worked at a family business in town. One of my weekly "jobs" was to inquire among the employees their Late's order, call it in and go pick it up. Now I'm in the Milwaukee area but whenever I come "home" I/we always have going to Late's on the menu of events. If I go to Manitowoc alone, my family will place their take home orders. No one here likes luke warm to cold food, the only exception is if it's from Late's. Now that's a glowing review to any establishment. One thing we marvel at is that in all the 40 some years I've known of their existence, the food is consistently delicious. Same buns, same mayo for your fries, best cheese curds in the world, amazing. We are enjoying your remodeled space and new bathrooms but please don't ever "improve" on your food, it's not possible nor necessary.

Their broasted chicken tastes amazingly moist and tender.

Told us a half hour.for delivery. It took close to two hours and when the food arrived it was cold. Will never order again!!!!!!
