Delicious food and charming lakeside setting make this place a family favorite. Our go-to dishes include Chicken Marsala, crab cakes, and meatballs for starters. Despite the current stay-at-home order, we enjoyed a lovely takeout meal with great service and appreciated support from the owner.

My niece and I had a very enjoyable evening dining at Maxsells...Chef Daniel waited on us, making us feel special...I will return again when I come back on vacation next August...I left a gift card for our hosts at Duvall's resort...thank you so much ...and no we were not food critics from the Chicago Trib, just foodies...
