I had a frustrating experience trying to pay with a credit card that required a long wait for authorization. Unfortunately, the prime rib sandwich I was looking forward to was not available during my visit. However, the restaurant's charming location by the Flambeau River offered a picturesque view of deer feeding on corn piles outside the windows, with active hummingbird feeders adding to the rustic ambiance. Despite these setbacks, the friendly staff and delicious Friday night fish fry made it a pleasant dining experience overall, leaving me eager to return and explore more of their menu options in the future.
