I recently dined at Mad Max's, a truck stop restaurant located next to Hwy 41, after being rerouted off the highway due to a car accident. Despite the unexpected detour, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food - my daughter enjoyed a hearty breakfast while I indulged in a delicious Friday cod dinner. The crispy breading on the cod and the flavorful fries exceeded my expectations, and the bustling atmosphere, while unexpected, added to the overall experience.
