The worst dining experience I have had in a long time. Do not eat here unless you crave lukewarm, bland, freezer-burned food served in metal airline trays and you like to pay too much for it. The beer, a bad Budweiser imitator, was very expensive. The service was extremely slow. It took forever to get our beer and our food and there were only about 4 other occupied tables in the whole restaurant. The atmosphere...you would think with what they charge for the food they could afford a new carpet. The lighting was so bright, I could see all of the dirt. And they didn't even light the little candle on our table. It is no wonder there was a very small crowd there on a Saturday night. Bottom line---Stay away!

We had a delivery disaster here. They messed up our order, and when we called to get the rest of our food (that we had paid for), it never came. They kept promising me that the delivery person was on the way, right up until they closed for the night and stopped answering their phones. The manager was supposed to call me, so I could get a refund, but of course, that didn't happen. To top it all off, the food we got was not good and overpriced. I would recommend against trying out this place.

very bad food, uncooked, no taste, no freshness, all stale.
place is unhygenic ,looks dirty and shabby.
service is horrible, understaffed and they ignore you if you even ask for an extra glass.

Taj Palace consists of tired decore and a staff that doesn't know its own menu. They don't know what wines they have, if any. The layout leaves something to be desired. Unless you crave a subway token booth feel. Moreover, the hostess was disinterested at best. Her body language showed this as well. The chef was apparently equally disinterested, as was shown in our meal.

Based on our experience, we find the glowing reviews (all posted on the same day) to be rather suspect and highly misleading.

I went there for my birthday today, based on their menu, and the reviews posted on this site. My family and I were extremely disappointed. The service was beyond slow, the food was okay, at best! The music was horrendous. There was only one waiter for the entire restaurant. We couldn't wait to get out of there. We are always sorry to write a bad review about an Indian restaurant, as we are from India.

We were here on a Saturday evening for our friends birthday and had a great time! We ordered the Taj Feast for two and was it a feast! So much food we all had left overs. The food was excellent. We have'nt had food like this since we left New Delhi. The bellydancers were gorgeous too!

My wife and I go to this restaurant when we want great Indian Cuisine. It's the best we've had in the area since we left India. Fast service, food always tastes fresh and warm comfortable atmosphere. Reccomend this restaurant to others.
