The fried chicken sandwich at Bar Pilar is quite large and comes with a choice of home fries or salad, both seasoned well for a satisfying crunch. While the chicken itself may lack flavor, the accompaniments of avocado, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise help balance it out. The eggs Benedict is a standout dish with rich sauce and perfectly cooked eggs that ooze just right.
