Located just a few blocks from the National Mall, this restaurant offers a laid-back atmosphere perfect for families and friends alike. The food was delicious, with standout dishes like the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and the spinach dip, while the attentive service made our experience even better.

There is a definite young urban vibe here, sprinkled with tourists who came to see the Friendship Archway. The building itself is unique having previousy been a chinese grocery store and transformed into a multi level restaurant, each nook with its own feeling. There are vintage matchboxes in each table, with slender chic menus and modern flatware. I have to recommend getting a mixed drink with their homemade flavored liquors from watermelon to banana. My personal favorite is "The Chinatown." The pizza competes with some of the best i''ve had in DC, (and can be ordered for pick-up) and their mini-burger appetizer is getting alot of word-of-mouth publicity. Desserst range from cappuncino ice cream sandwhichs to banana bread pudding that will sweeten any sour day. It can get loud at peak hours, and if that kind of thing bothers you..imy advice is the higher you go into the restaurant..the quieter it gets. A great excuse to get into the city...maybe even catch a movie at the famous E Street Cinema beforehand. Try it out.
