During my visit to McCormick & Schmick's on Super Bowl evening, Sophia, the head staff member, provided exceptional service by recommending dishes, pacing the meal perfectly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere despite the upscale setting. The food was generally excellent, especially the Ahi tuna appetizer and the medium-rare ribeye, though I found the mashed potatoes less impressive and preferred the perfectly seasoned spinach; the dessert was delicious but quite sweet.
